To run an APK file on Windows 11 without an emulator, you can use Windows Subsystem for Android (WSA), which is a tool that allows Windows to run Android apps directly.
Let’s Begin:
1)Virtualization must be enabled (verify)
2) Turn following windows Features on : (Verify, and Enable these)
i) Windows subsystem for Linux
ii) Virtual Machine Platform
iii) Windows PowerShell 2.0
iv) Windows Hypervisor Platform
Go to setting and enable developer mode –: set as On
3) Update PowerShell script execution policy unrestricted for current user: Open PowerShell
Set-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted -Scope CurrentUser -Force
4) Download Windows Subsystem for android (WSA)
download and extract zip file.
5) Lets open cmd as admin:
type ——-: cd (path of install.ps1 file)
then type –: powershell.exe -executionpolicy bypass -file .Install.ps1
Installation will start quickly, wait for complete installation, then you will be asked to login play store to download any apk file and you can install and run it on your system.
