  1. Hello! I'm on Aeon too (very new to it), I wonder if is normal that even if resolve was correctly installed on a rocky distrobox in the /opt folder, as usual , and I could access in terminal after launching distrobox , the /opt folder stays empty in the actual host , therefore the menu to launch resolve from the host wouldn't work .. I had to move /opt/resolve somewhere else in the home , and then create a symlink to it in /opt .. Is this a bug in my install or is normal, like that since is an immutable distro /opt folder should stay empty ?

  2. Hey! I was able to follow untill i got to the ./ Command to run the file. I got an erroer that says:

uthorization required, but no authorization protocol specified qt.qpa.xcb: could not connect to display :0 qt.qpa.plugin: Could not load the Qt platform plugin "xcb" in "" even though it was found. This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. Available platform plugins are: linuxfb, minimal, offscreen, xcb.

Any clue what to do here?

  3. Hey thanks so much for this. After a bit of work I managed to get Davinci installed (had a bunch of trouble getting X11 working… I think this solved it: "sudo dnf groupinstall "base-x"
However, I still can't launch Resolve properly. It says "Unsupported GPU PRocessing Mode", and opens a configuration window, where I can't see my Radeon 6700 XT listed at all.

  4. I'm trying to install it on Artix Linux (like Arch but uses OpenRC instead of SystemD) but when I try to run the Resolve installer I get the following:

Authorization required, but no authorization protocol specified
qt.qpa.xcb: could not connect to display :0
qt.qpa.plugin: Could not load the Qt platform plugin "xcb" in "" even though it was found.
This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

Available platform plugins are: linuxfb, minimal, offscreen, xcb.

Any ideas? Might it be related to the fact that I'm not using SystemD? I'm new to Distrobox and don't know how isolated it is from the rest of my system.
