How to add CUSTOM nodes to EVE-NG 2023

In this video, I provide a walkthrough for the process of how to add custom devices to the EVE-NG platform. This process works for just about ANY qemu/qcow2 image. Great way to enhance you CCNA or JNCIA labbing experience.

Have you tried adding a device on your own and ran into the 60031 error below? I get it.. that’s why I created this video, skip to 5:57 for the solution.

“Template does not exists or is not available (60031).”

  1. I followed this to perfection, but i still cannot get my node to be able to be selected. It shows up in the list, but still greyed out. I also made sure the naming convention matched multiple times. I am trying to add EVO 23.R2. It shouldn't be any different (still uses virtioa.qcow2 it seems. Any idea?
