Nandish Parmar, director for virtualization platforms at Solera, explains how the company was initially running on VCF and PCF infrastructure but decided to migrate to Kubernetes with VMware Tanzu and currently has a wide range of applications running both on VMs and containers. Consolidation was a focus for the company as they acquired multiple companies and were struggling with development siloes. They currently run approximately 60 VMware Tanzu clusters on-premises and other clusters on public clouds.
