Kind of like the giant statue of Trump as the god emperor of man. Amazing craftsmanship but as a message it was all over the darn place. It was like they saw the meme but didn't understand the context of the Warhammer 40k universe since from what I can gather it was suppose to be a condemnation of Trump.
stop, i know america is fucked, i just wait trump MAGA
Oh man it's always nice to see cool new small channels. I do have few issues with your video tho, like, I dont think that every simgle piece of media has to always be critically examined and analysed, sometimes it's just a haha funny moment. Also, I think that making fun of fascism is the best way to fight it: we beat andrew tate by meming him into oblivion, he is no longer relevant because everyone started making fun of him. Portraying fascists as "evil and ruthless" always just fuels their rhetoric, instead we have to show how pathetic, stupid and weak they are. Meming is a powerful tool, it was just in the hands of the wrong people, I think the left can really use them to spread anticapitlist and antifascist rhetoric. Also I hate it when people say that the two American parties are the same, no they're not, they're clearly not: the republicans are literally fascist and want to overthrow democracy, the democrats are just liberals.
How is this different from our parents saying we shouldn't listen to metal music because it's devil worship??
Let kids be kids
Thank you so much for this amazing video! Could you help me with something unrelated: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
10:53 Thaat's a YTP. It features nothing but obscure humor out of any trending topic.
True but we have to recognize we are going to live in a meme society from this point on and have to learn how to teach the young how to avoid it
Omg, I just stumbled across this channel and I had no idea this channel is as small it is. This is super good quality and has great content. Keep up the good work!
This video feels like when the middle aged teacher gets mad that the teenagers at the museum aren’t taking the art she wanted to show them seriously. The art and the meme can exist simultaneously, one doesn’t overwrite the other and it’s not a problem because the subject is something you like now. What you are concerned about is apathy towards your subject, not the medium that apathy is conveyed in. Political shorthand was not invented with internet memes.
Satire works best when it exposes pretentious communication. I think this is why memes work. Politics pretends that our participation in elections is important. It pretends that there is a lively political discussion in which we need to take a position. When in actuality it doesn't. The opinion of the public doesn't matter. So political memes work so well because they expose just that.
meme culture guides people to liken truisms, half-truths and standpoints as facts, especially for a person who has a limited general knowledge. It's rhetorical standpoint caters to the sensibilities of people who have decided that nothing matters.
It's interesting that the childish gambino memes kind of reinforce the point the original music video was making.
I made a vid discussing a similar subject when discussing how the internet often twists or misinterprets media such as with how characters that criticize masculinity being used as a representation of masculinity as an example. Very fascinating how this happens so often in this day and age when information is so widely available
"My favourite meme, or maybe just some weird creation from my own imagination, has to be a picture of a dead cat atop a tall pole with a sign proudly saying, ‘Leak Fixed.’ Because, you know, nothing screams 'problem solved' like a feline sacrifice to the plumbing gods. Who needs actual repairs when you’ve got a cat and a pole, right? And don’t even get me started on information—next time there’s a government scandal, they’ll just stick a cat on it with a big sign that says, ‘Cat’s on it—crisis averted!’ Problem solved, everyone. Carry on!"
5:37 you repeat the sentence twice, just thought you might wanna know while it's only just gone up. Great vid as always 🙏🏾
