Worst case scenario it would cause minor Inconveniences, it won't make airplanes fall of the sky or trains to crash like it was portrayed. On the other hand, bunch of companies have made a fortune on the Y2K scare… Most computers in the 90's were already Y2K compliant 🤷♂️

I work for a public utility with over 14000 employees. Since I am nothing more than a truck mechanic for the company, I am about as low on the totum pole as a person can get. Even after 38 years of working there, few know I even exist. Most of my IT equipment that I use for ordering parts and scheduling maintenance on the trucks is so outdated, hell I still have a fax machine in my office. I kind of like this low key job. They can't lay me off if they don't know me.
Guess whose computer was NOT affected by this global outage? When I came to work that morning it was business as usual for me😂
