Happened back by and noticed that part of this conversation reminded me of an incident when I worked at 7-11. I have been an avid reader all my life, read thousands of books, but customers always assumed I was stupid and uneducated. One guy was a huge Stephen King fan and swore that "IT" was the greatest horror novel ever. He told me that if I bought a copy and read it, and didn't like it, he'd buy me another book of my choosing. I bought IT, read IT, and didn't like IT (I thought the first half, with the children, was good – aside from the gangbang – and the rest was not), but the guy refused to believe I didn't like the book, told me that I was lying, and so never bought me the replacement.
I'm an old guy who was once young and walked into a local cinema when I was just 15 years old and sat to watch a bright new movie, the Star Wars.
I now find myself told by Disney and Lucasfilm that I am a toxic fan for not liking what they have created.
Interestingly I am one of many that has never changed in our love of that movie.
Many say my voice does not count and yet, thanks to the internet I am here placing my opinion and my money to support you all… Recently I made a comment that so far has recieved 57Ks in likes! Enough people around the world cared to like my comment and I'm just actually a "no-one"… I guess my voice may count more than any of those shilling for Disney!
Wait, so you folks whine about rop not following Cannon but then admit penguin isn't the character from the comics but praise it? Darn right we're out for blood. There were some youtubers, like certain ones in the Fellowship, I was just following very casually…until the RoP Superbowl trailer. I totally didn't want them to get away with that travesty, so that's when I signed up for people like Disparu, Gary, and Az who were speaking against it and giving out spoilers for what was coming. There wasn't anything I could do myself, but I wanted to show my support against this and to also have a place to share any of the things I myself found out about it.
They still need our "toxic money" but I don't need them.

No the reason why this is the things because these are the same people who think that they can just control what a movie or a TV show or any form of media should do with their own art. Play you remember when the my hero academia fans tried to tell the writer to make characters gay just so they can feel like better about themselves even though it doesn't fit in the story at all. Andy got mad and started hating my hero academia because characters weren't gay. This is exactly what happens when you let the fans take control over the show instead of just staying with the show as a writer.
Rings of Power and I'd go as far as The Hobbit, Star Wars, Marvel, DC. The people who make these movies are just trying to cash in on people's nostalgia. The only reason Deadpool is a hit is because it's basically Marvel fan service, change my mind. As someone who doesn't have a "favorite movie" but favorite directors like Tarantino and Chris Nolan. These new movies and shows are shit.

The last of us gay episode was a good and emotional episode. I certainly teared up a bit. It just didn't belong in the season because those guys were completely irrelevant to the season. The only thing Offermans character did was give them a truck that they used for an episode. It was obvious that they gave it more screen time exclusively because he was gay.
I really like the last of us episode 3. I thought it was a touching love story, and I watch it like that one tracking shot in true detective season 1. I just like shows that make me feel something, whether it's sad or tense or happy or scared.
