pretty sad to see only BTC is up. All the other mining gpu coin are not profitable. When we earn about 0.10c profit par 3070 on the most profitable coin ( Aleo )that mean gpu is dead. We need 400x 3070 to make 40$ profit par day. that is shit. For us home crypto miner it's way better to buy coins and this is bad because we are no longueur be a part of the ecosystem.
Usually Graphics motherboards have PLX chips or use the Bi-furcation boards in the x16 speed PCI-e slots
AMD cpu probably needed, you need a cpu with over 32 PCI-E lanes OR use the bi-furcation boards with PLX chips

The 1x to 4x PCIe adapters use a PLX switch.
Anyways, I doubt the China "X99" boards has one. Pretty sure X99-E WS does, but not used like that.

I guess Xeon CPUs have a lot of PCI-E lanes available from the CPU itself so there is a very low chance that an X99 motherboard will use a PCI-E switch, let alone a dual-CPU one where you've got even more PCI-E lanes.

The PLX he's referring to is likely a secondary board entirely. PLX is a PCIE switch.
