Governor of Oyo state Seyi Makinde has visited the scene of the recent explosion in Bodija area of Ibadan.
The governor visited the scene alongside his deputy and other officials to ascertain the level of damage caused by the incident.
While addressing newsmen at the scene, the governor said from the information gathered so far, the incident have been caused as a result of the activities of illegal miners and wondered why the residents didn’t race an alarm before the explosion.
