The Mini IT13 design is identical to the Mini IT12. It is actually the same weight and has a solid heaviness to it; although not heavy, it is also not light. It definitely has a classy and balanced vibe. Except for the bottom edges, the Mini PC’s edges and corners are all rounded, making it easy to grip and move around. Although the Mini IT13 has two USB4 ports that are type C, they are still positioned on the rear of the Mini PC. The Mini PC has three USB 3, Gen 3.2 ports and one USB 2 port. It has a totally metallic blue/grey exterior that is not a fingerprint magnet. It also appears to be aluminum, but it isn’t; it’s a plastic shell over a metal frame. It doesn’t seem cheap or flimsy, and it remains robust even after the base is removed.
GEEKOM has once again omitted the mini DisplayPort in favor of an additional HDMI 2 connector. Even though the Intel Core i9 13900H supports HDMI 2.1 a and D D R 5 RAM, these options are missing from the Mini IT13, which may have given it a speed increase.
Focusing in on the strong Core i9 processor, The Core i9 13900H is the fastest 45-watt CPU, and it is only bested by Raptor Lake- H X-based variants with more cores and enhanced P-cores. Nonetheless, the CPU is perfectly suited for all demanding use cases such as gaming, content creation, and scientific calculations. Raptor Lake H series was revealed in early 2023 and includes 6 fast cores ina Golden Cove design and 8 efficiency cores in Gracemont architecture. When paired with the E-cores, the P-cores support Hyper-Threading, resulting in a total of 20 supported threads. The clock rate on the performance cluster goes from 2.6 to 5.4 gigahertz with a single-core turbo, all-core 4.9 gigahertz, and from 1.9 to 4.1 gigahertz on the efficiency cluster.
