  1. It does not let you keep all of your installed apps. I tried it on an old pc that was already running 11 and it will only allow you to keep files and documents but it completely removes all of your drivers and installed applications and resets all settings. Microsoft is such a pain in the ass with their stupid restrictions

  2. To check if your PC meets the SSE 4.2 requirement, do the following:
    1. Execute this command in Windows Command Prompt: machid.exe
    2. The supported PC will give this respond: SSE4.2: True

  3. I don’t get it, why this obsession from Microsoft with the so called supported hardware. It’s not the users fault they f-ed up their operating system to prevent bad things happen to the users. This cat and mouse game will never end anyway and it doesn’t matter if you are on unsupported or supported hardware it’s just a costly solution for the users when Microsoft gives the people the index finger with their slacker attitude and demand the hardware developers fix their failures. (No I don’t have all the facts about this but I still think they dump the problems on someone else).
