  2. Maybe a silly question, as I'm a non-geek………
    I recently moved from W8.1 to W10, and I'm wondering if I may not have some of the necessary updates on it.

    For example, 2024-08 Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5042320) installed itself this morning, but when I clicked on it the Microsoft page showed…..

    KB5042320: Windows Recovery Environment update for Windows 10, version 21H2 and 22H2: January 9, 2024

    That doesn't make sense to me, because the information is very different. Can anyone here clarify that for me, please? Many thanks.

  3. New information on the Recall feature from Chris Titus. He says the only thing he has been able to find is that the Recall feature is some how a dependency for file explorer. Says that when you try to strip the feature out it makes the file explorer go back to the old version. My guess is some part of the Recall feature is intertwined with some part of file explorer.
