A month or two back I posted a video talking about using Final Cut Pro X over 10 Gigabit Ethernet. A viewer asked if 2.5GbE would work, and I decided to give it a shot.
There is an issue with using any NAS for Final Cut Pro X, and I cover how to get past that.
I used TrueNAS running on Proxmox on a Beelink EQ12 fanless computer, sporting a brace of 2.5GbE network jacks on the back. (For a fair test, I only connected one of the two ports to the network.)
