Today we are in Chester Massachusetts exploring a mine abandoned in 1906. It was originally mined in 1856 for magnetite (used for iron), however due to a large presence of margarite in the ore (a calcium brittle mica) it was converted into to an emery mine. #history #adventure #vlog #newengland #abandon
