Experiences with Cloud Development Environments (CDE) with CodeCatalyst and Gitpod
In this session Lou (and AWS Community Builder) and I take a deep, detailed look into Amazon CodeCatalyst – Dev Environments and compare it with Gitpod.
Both allow developers and engineers to develop “in the browser” or remotely.
CodeCatalyst DevEnvironments (in the web) use Amazon’s Cloud9 as CDE, Gitpod offers a full-fledged Visual Studio Code.
We look at common use cases, how to set up your environment and how to interact with it.
Will you adapt to use a Cloud Development Environment?
Let me know in the comments!
