Error when trying to compile linux kernel on a dual boot macine over the shared partition . #aux.h

I have a dual boot machine, with a shared parition. Wanted to compile linux kernel after many years, checkedout the kernel on the shared disk partition. Turns out you cannot, becasue ntfs does not tolerates a file named aux.h or aux.cpp 🙂 #kernel
