Yo I recently found your channel and just want to say how impressed I am by your upload schedule! Iβve been binging your Timberborn content and itβs a lot of fun to watch. Thanks!!
These double bridges are so cool, now you need @RCE to do a bridge reviewwwwww
Unmark the maples and chestnuts and let them grow wild
Unmark the maples and chestnuts and let them grow wild
I always put the but assemblers on top of the bot part factory, because they transmit power through their flat roofs.
But why you leave one tile empty between plants and the water?
Hey Skye, just wanted to say that it's great having you back, really missed you guys.
i'm not sure how it can look or what purpose it can serve, but i think the visual impact would be amazing of having an above-ground aqueduct of one colored water flowing over the top of another colored liquid, e.g. a roman-style above-ground aqueduct bringing a stream of fresh water over to the bad-lands area for a small pumping station.
Maybe that little mountain next to the new forest area could be irrigated with a water dump and used to grow trees.
Skye, you need a proper source of power, maybe using bad water in the bad lands
You need to optimise your stuff. It's all too cloudy. First step would be to get a lot of water wheels in the Borderlands as it runs almost constantly.
Tapper Shacks by the maples and get some of them pastries going. Also you could leave a deep trench and do the cattails around it.
Love your content <3
u could make industrial complex in the middle of badland like an island surrounded by badwater
To save gears for the time being you could always build up to the scrap metal structure in front of the mine and collect that way!
The mining area is going to look awesome.
Could you somehow run a tunnel underground from the dam too the mountain center near the town?
Create a natural underground spring geyser. aqueducts if the map was upside-down.
I'd love to see the rest of the new platforms! If you can place them on each other you could make really cool branching designs – Alternatively, a Badwater Aqueduct sounds cool just phonetically, but I reckon you could make the real thing truly epic!
I was just wondering. Why would you dig out dirt for a hole for an underground storage so beavers can store dirt in there :/ haha love the vids! Keep em coming! π
For so many years now Sky Iβve been watching. Love your videos so much.
Also, Iβm sold. Iβve been wanting to play this game for years. Iβm finally doing it
β€
If you make the Thunderdome a bot-only district, you could do some really cool things with bad water, having streams and aqueducts criss-crossing the map.
Fun fact (which you probably know already) – if you plant the trees, then deselct them from replanting, once fully grown, they'll randomply spurt their seed all over the nature's womb making other trees grow irreguralry in random places, which in the end looks like a wild forest.
How about some lidos between those cattails?
I would love to see random overhangs just randomly placed or maybe with like small storages on them just to look messy
I just bought Timberborn today after getting caught up on this season. Couldn't resist.
first row of water pumps is only 1 deep you should mkae it two or three deep to mathc the other group of pumps
You could build an entire Mega-Windfarm on top of the Hill directly behind your already existing Mega-Dam and instead of a long path on top of the Dam, you could put loads and loads of Gravity Batteries on the edge of the Dam instead, giving you soooo much more stored power if there's no wind anymore, that way, everythign keeps running, including Bot production
Also, i then would move the Bot production closer to the Industrial part of your Map and also making at least one Hauling Post and one Builders Hut being entirely operated by Bots (so that some work also gets done overnight
This is why its worth tuning into another Skye Storme Adventure!
You should move the rubble to a workable location and prioritise it so the haulers can take it away and back into your storage. It also cleans up the look of the map. You can move the rubble by scheduling construction like power shafts or dynamite until you corral the rubble into the right spots
Thunderdome!
Keep the content going.
Looking forward to every new episode, and I'm very happy each time I see one… π
Love the Mad Max mining complex. You should go full insanity and build overhangs on top of the overhangs and make some truly precarious structures just hanging in the air.
πππ looking good..ππ
35:54 Hey Skye, when you were highlighting over the maples to plant in the chestnuts around them you replaced the maple planting areas with chestnut planting ones, because thatβs how it works when nothingβs actually planted there yet.
For your badlands, I donβt know if this would work but my messy sounding idea would be to have a sluice pulling Badwater into a pipe that would then carry the water up where it would appear to erupt out of the side of the mountain and flow back down into the Badwater reservoir. So it looks like the badwater is flowing out of the mine or out from under the industrial area. You can add a number of them if it works out well.
matching the terrain on the back of the map is great. Can't wait to see it and the Drome.
The hardest challenge for any city/settlement builder game…….. not building symmetric lol
16:58 ?????? you won't even see them under the pumps
I know you like building big industrial projects, but I'd love to see the Skye approach to some lovely agricultural lands! Maybe using the new features to create some artistic aquaducts?? π€ It would look really nice spreading out south of your pump/fountain/apartment district!
try to make a cave whit overhangs and dirt… as location.. maybe the spot where the bad water goes off the map
You could turn the mountain next to your new green area into a bunch of terrace farms, make a little spring at the top that flows down in small waterfalls to join the new river/pond
Skype, you have an hell of an eye. Glad your pc issue is behind you. Definitely add more levels on your post apoplectic area. I think adding more details will bring it to life. Using different size tanks. Maybe even use some wooden levies in site of dirt as if this place will use anything to prop itself up. Take care sky. James
oh i love the new theme ! thank you !
Would love cattails!
