- How to install Kali Linux EASY & FAST on VirtualBoxDecember 7, 2024
Did you know this? What are you tips and tricks?
Do you need anything preinstalled? Like a module or the OS itself? As well as enabling anything ?😊
You have to enable windows clipboard, or you use to have to.
Using clip manager daily, but integrated to windows is shi**y. I like Ditto. Best clip manager. Also going with search and do not clear history after reboot, and moving to top when you used something from history. Best app ever
Ctrl+C copy 🗿☕
Wow
Clipboard features don't seem to be working in Linux…or does it have another shortcut hot key combo?
You'll only see that you have already copied in that clipboard 😂
You running sub system on docker.
There are 3rd party apps that work far better than the built-in feature, such as Ditto. Been using it for years, and you can even sync your clipboard history between devices if you use Dropbox or similar cloud storage. You can search your history and pin clips to the top as well.
I do not see the (key) so I cannot do (win) (key) (v) on my French keyboard
Best youtube shorts award 👑
Instead of that wsl -l – v
No I didn’t and thanks very much. My experience with WSL was moderately successful but undesirable on my laptop. It constantly chewed the cpu even at idle. Building new desktop for a proper environment. Thanks!
David you need to check out Quake Mode in windows terminal 💪
logout
You are my real teacher 💖
wow a windows hidden feature
can you suggest me some book to enter into cybersecurity work or linux world???
Used win-v for a while now. And i love it. It stores also pictures and formatting. You can also pin items, to have it available after reboot. 😊

Much better than the clipboard is the app called Ditto, truly great clipboard, you even organize and save the things you saved for much later use + shortcuts are also configurable
alt+F4 time to go out and have a drink😅
To me, WSL limits Kali Linux A LOT…
Dual boot is a lot more practical, especially if you plan on really using Kali as it should be used and also, VMs work a lot better than dual boot but I had a bad experience with WSL
I tried tricks for opening Kali linux not working 😔
@DavidBombal: Thanks.
How to enable Kali on a Mac without resorting to dual, triple boots from USB and/or dual-drive, dual-drive/singulae VM?
Thx.!
Well known shortcuts and informations for people which know what are you talking about..
The best one is hitting Alt + F4 repeatedly. Unlike sticky keys from tapping the same key repeatedly, tapping Alt + F4 rapidly is very helpful.
My tip is uninstalling Windows and use a real Kali. Or if you are really cool, you gonna boot Kali Live straight from your Android phone using DriveDroid xD
No offense, I know you wanna show people some cool things, but I think they'd be better off just using real kali. WSL doesn't allow you to use the full hardware, it's slow af and you still need to use Windows and I think using Kali in Windows is like using MacOS inside of Linux.
You can, but you shouldn't
🙂
I feel like a lot of Youtubers are like, “Windows is actually good now because they added Linux VMs.” Like, bruh.
Cool trick!
Windows-key+V was new to me 😮
Thanks!
Big Thank's for u @davidbombal
Is there a soft for Linux that make the same as win+v?
I didn't even know you could look at your clipboard history like that
Nice video!
Very informative video sir ❤.
