Here’s my take on Network Function Virtualization

NFV isn’t a completely new concept. It’s basically adopting a similar approach to virtualizing server’s which over the past few years has seen some significant developments.

ETSI who are a recognized European standards organization have overseen the development lifecycle of NFV adoption and standards.

It’s not a Nirvana type technology inspiration. But a worthwhile function for teams to adopt and add to their capability catalogue.

Its vendor agnostic a major plus point to keeping flexible.
