In this video, we will show you some of the R740’s Network card options and even demonstrate how to install your network card. This is a fairly simple process and will be an easy installation overall. There is no daughter card slot in the rear of the R740. Only PCIe network cards can be used. There are RJ45, SFP, SFP+, SFP28, QSFP, QSFP56 and more options available. There are also cards with speeds of 1GbE, 8GbE, 10GbE, 16GbE, 25GbE, 32GbE, 40GbE, 100GbE. We will provide a thorough list towards the final portion of our video. I would not be surprised to hear there are plenty of other cards that work as well. This was just a comprehensive list of what we have found to work.
