  1. I installed bricopacks/ Vista Inspirat on my XP PC back in the day to imitate the Longhorn/ Vista look. It destroyed my PC and I had to do a clean install few weeks after haha.

  2. There is a third party program that lets you change the boot screen called TuneUp Utilities 2014. I used it during my days of Windows ricing, and even though it’s kinda bloated it has a lot of useful features. You can set it back to the default or load your own

  3. 16:30 looks like you managed to get Windows to triple fault which means you messed up so badly the CPU has to reset itself (aka reboot).
It probably worked in the VM because you either missed something, or simply the fact that VMs are a lot more lenient when it comes to illegal operations/instructions so it probably allowed the system to continue that a real CPU wouldn't allow, but the simple fact is you probably messed something up badly.

  4. CCleaner, Adobe, and Winrar are not bloatware…Power users and people in general use some type of third party to clean junk files… Everybody had Adobe on their XP to open pdf files…Winrar was the popular rar/zip opener when downloading torrents back then…Today the names change but the programs remain the same…

Nobody wants to stare at a blue wallpaper…That is why if you search wallpaper, millions of beautiful nature shots like in XP Gold Edition are available…Not to mention third party theme programs to change desktop icons, audio, and boot menus…

Many flavors of XP were slipstreamed with essential programs like an iso opener or zip extractor…In fact, even Linux had a version with open office and some other "bloatware" preinstalled…

So, instead of bashing on someone else's creative flavor, why don't you slipstream your favorite programs and themes into your own version of XP because it is not as easy as it is to criticize it…

  5. The topmost pity is that the boot screen was never restored. But thanks Michael you led me know this Windows XP modification that I've gonna trying it right now!

  6. Just open task manager, then open services, then open start up manager, then open scheduled tasks… this guys an idiot sorry chat 🤡

Absolutely no files need to be deleted manually… you can prevent them from running via start up / scheduled tasks / services…

  7. Pretty neat idea, it's pretty common for people to say "just do a clean reinstall" when systems have bloatware, but this is the first time I've seen someone actually try to remove all of the bloat manually and get it back to clean without reinstalling.
