Day 55 of 360: Exploring Vagrant for DevOps Tasks

Hello everyone,

Today marks Day 55 of my 360 Days of Learning journey, and I am excited to share my latest progress with you all. Today, I delved into Vagrant and its basic setups. 🎉

What is Vagrant?

Vagrant is an open-source tool for building and managing virtualized development environments. It provides a simple and consistent workflow to manage the creation, configuration, and provision of virtual machines.
This is particularly useful for developers and DevOps engineers who need to create reproducible environments quickly and efficiently.

Today’s Achievements:

Learned about Vagrant: Understanding what Vagrant is and its core functionalities.

Basic Setup: Setting up Vagrant on my local machine.

Created Vagrant Files: Developed Vagrant files for launching virtual machines (VMs) of Debian and CentOS to perform my DevOps tasks.

Vagrant Cheat Sheet:
I’m also sharing a Vagrant cheat sheet that can help you get started with Vagrant or serve as a quick reference for common commands and configurations.
