  1. I'm having a hard time doing this as this method for some reason doesnt work. I have done the exact same steps and no success. I've tried sudo apt update, logging back in and restarting. All my applications are up to date. What am I doing wrong?

  2. If i change "lagecy applications" it changes only gtk2. All standard Gnome applications looks same like before. Your instructions do not work with Fedora 40 and GNOME 46 or you have forgotten something

  3. I have absolutely no idea whats going on with ubuntu, first off there is no extension in gnome tweaks showing up for me, 2nd, there is no option to change shell theme. WTF is going on? Im also having issues with the left click closing tabs when the pointer isnt on the 'x' , The sound will occasionally flat out stop working. Im new to this stuff and it's not making me happy. I dont want to return to windows, somebody help. sometimes it just flat out turns off my computer. Im trying so hard to enjoy linux, but so far its just one problem after another, one google search after the other, and anytime i click something the computer doesnt like, I'll get a "something has happened and the system cant recover" message, This is absolutely infuriating.

  4. Hii awesome video, but I faced an issue, when I changed icons the icons in my show apps section in taskbar became abnormally large, I literally can't see what is written there are they take space from icon under them (overlap with icons below). Help me please. Even reverting back to advaita font is not fixing the issue.

  5. Hey, I just want to say you did a good job on the video, very clear and concise. I just want to say that before installing the extensions manager i mistakenly thought that gnome-extensions was the way to install extensions manager (it turned out to be the actual user themes extension itself). I am wondering how to remove the user themes as a whole because it is not showing on the user-downloaded part of extensions manager, but it still shows as installed and I cannot remove it. (I use arch linux btw, yes overused statement)

  6. I'm a new linux user so sorry if this sound like noob question but do any of these customization impact performance. I'm currently using xubuntu and running pretty low specs. Half the reason why I even switch to linux was cause windows 11 was choking out my cpu for resources so I don't want to relive that again.

  7. If there is a working scroll wheel on your mouse, you don't need a scroll bar. But, if you don't have a scroll wheel on your mouse or if it is not working then you need the scroll bar.

  8. If you want to customize your GNOME desktop, KDE is your best option:))
As for me, I really love the minimalistic stock GNOME experience in Fedora.

(the video has been liked anyway)
