Nice video. Not a criticism, I enjoy your insights. I tend to think prices could go higher if BTC rockets. But understand the logic for sandbagging estimates. My opinion is BTC breaks 100k, perhaps reaches 140k ATH, if conditions are right. But broader forces are at play now. Weโre moving into really unknown territory. And these entities are shrewd. I think thereโs massive manipulation ahead. If BTC survives that, well, weโre likely in for a good windfall. But it wonโt be smooth sailing getting there. Stay strong…
Australia might be getting free electricity
Sold off all my non 30 series GPUs two years ago. Mining with them a little here and there, mainly for heat in winter. Got in to ASICs in 2022 and have no regrets but its a dangerous game to play
Yeah we went from average 6 cents over the last 25 years to now average around 10-12 Cents. Our rate varies though so quite ofte we have 1-5 cents power, thats when i run 50000 wats of GPU, CPU and ASICS ๐ Lets have some blood in the streets, looking forward to it, and man its though out there. Finding myself buying 64 core Milan and Rome epycs at the current time,
I'll keep mining with the bears, I know a bull run will happen… but your points are valid.
GPU mining is not dead but only to miners who can not compete. It is competition based system by default, and only the guys having the most cost effective mining setups can withstand in the competition. If only the mining is considered, I believe the biggest life changing wealth was made in the early years like 2010-2017, if miners from that time got enough brains to also hodl good portion of their coins. Sure, the prices have gone even more upwards after that, but the competition has multiplied probably much more.
bro just move on get one gpu 1 btc mini asic 1 scrypt miner and move on on solo mining paying currently 300W wats and still profitable if it hits blocks stop trying to be power house and jsut drive unneceserry demand for IT equipment buying more and more while cant even pay off your expenses keep it small keep it under the radar keep it decentrilized
dead in the usa and western eu, but the word is a bit bigger than that, those who were vise and or serious already moved to cheaper places long time ago
I'm selling all my asics. =(
Just another cycle.. it'll come back
Bro, your video was 1st I seen to mine crypto (or even computers in general) nobody knows what will happen, but i have a totally different strategy.
I invested in solar panels and at the moment I only mine during the day between 7am and 7pm. It's more worthwhile than selling the electricity.

Cryptocoin mining is NOT dead.
It's just not CRAZY level profitable in recent years, and you have to pay a lot more attention to the PRICE of mining (mostly electric cost) to be profitable.
GPU mining is not dead, though it took a major hit when Etherium converted to Proof of Stake and was underwater for a short while – but it's recovered somewhat since then.
I am GPU+ASIC mining and just covering costs. I have everything running in low power mode to try and maximise efficiency. Once the bull run starts I'll be cranking everything up to the max.
The over-all point is that new technology will not necessarily replace old technology, but it will date it. By definition. Eventually, it will replace it. But it's like people who had black-and-white TVs when color came out. They eventually decided whether or not the new technology was worth the investment. (Steve Jobs)
I've a few thoughts I'd like to proffer. As a residential miner mining in my rented apartment there are a few limits. I'm limited as to whick hardware and how much hardware I choose to use due to electrical power constraints. I'm also limited by the continual increases in electrical cost here in New England. I'm updating gpus, selling off the old cards for cards with more efficiency. I've also realised that for the forseeable short term here in New England mining has become seasonal. I only mine in my apartment from autumn to spring with my gpus. I've been experimenting with this as supplimental heat to my natural gas furnace the past 2 winters. This winter I'll be examining & experimenting with mining as a primary source of heating. Good luck all, hope this helps!
i guess it's finally time to panic … for u. i ain't stop mining ha!
i got only 3 rigs mining though. so im a baby miner :p
Man the bot in these comments is insane
Hey Blindrun, a longterm viewer since 2021. Would you be down for an interview? Just recently did one with IowaCryptominer, on my youtube channelRuby25cs. We just talk about crylto stuff, answer questions, etc.
Would be awesome.
Thank you
that's exactly how i think and i'm still mining at 14cents cad which is a lot compared to the states. Hang in there!
Thx SOAT i like the way you think and I DO need to learn more in everything. Thx
My power company advertises an electric rate at 12.9 cents kwh but after adding in fuel charges and fees it ends up around 16 cents. I imagine most electric companies do the same.
Mining and covering costs since 2022, can't wait for 2025.
Mine went from 19ยข to 23.5ยข/kwH! Sucks to be me.
This video was really high quality, and especially at the end, bravo buddy
Mining warthog 28gh. The only logical one to mine if your against ASIC's, Teams, and Foundations. The ASIC train isn't coming back we all know the gig.
Hodl everything.
Mining Monero with CPUs. Mining STORJ with external HDDs, plus buying the token. Using existing hardware to keep micro-mining and HODL.
Mine or die my friend
My rate is still at .112. But I took June, July and August off. It was hot and unprofitable. My cards are all on their rigs, ready to go and I'm planning on firing them back up in Fall.
Its been dead for 4 years
Thanks for sharing your insights! I just bought AWS84H and am holding for 5x returns. Coinbase, Bybit, and Binance are confirming listings soon. Iโm super excited to see where this investment goes. Your advice has been invaluable, and Iโm grateful for it! ๐
Thanks for the insights! BTCโs stability and ETHโs upcoming updates are encouraging. DOGE has strong community support. I see a great opportunity in new cryptos, so I invested $5,000 in AWS84H. Excited for its future! ๐
