Powershell script to complete my 2023 BCIT assignment to build 4 sites in Windows Server domain. You really only need 1 site, the default site, but this script will help you simulate a multi-site Windows domain, in a Hyper-V host. You will need 2GB per VM, and at least 32GB to build out and run all 4 sites totalling 12 VM’s.
The assignment was to do it manually, but I redid the assignment in Powershell to automate the steps.
The video explains the assignment, and explains the running execution of the Powershell scripts, in case you want to use the scripts yourself to create your own multi-site Windows domain in Hyper-V in your homelab.
This was not approved by BCIT, nor do they have anything to do with the video. They just provided the initial impetus for this project, which I hope someone might be able to benefit from the work.
