China launched first 3nm chip without EUV after U.S. ban!

China’s development of 3nm semiconductor chips is a significant milestone in its technology sector. As of recent advancements, companies like TSMC and Samsung are leaders in this area, but Chinese firms, notably Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC), are making strides to develop their own 3nm processes.

This technology is crucial for various applications, including high-performance computing and mobile devices, offering improvements in speed and energy efficiency. However, geopolitical factors, trade restrictions, and technological challenges impact China’s progress in achieving cutting-edge semiconductor capabilities.

  1. I always new they had this capability , look at the logic of what they are going to do, faze out all foreign semiconductors by 2027, it doesn't take a genius to work out the Chinese would have something comparable to take their place , and because the yankee spy network has been taken down and the PRC have restricted all information on all these critical technologies from the west for security reasons , I would say they are already working on chips below 1 nm and are well in front of the US and it's vassals in this field , the United States has lost yet another war , you would think they would've learnt by now , go China !!!
