In this video, 2 RHEL9 machines were used as FOG and DHCP servers, and Ubuntu 20.04 machines were used for capture and deploy. Do not forget that in other operating systems you have to make changes in certain commands!
What is FOG Server? What is it used for?
FOG Server (A free open-source network computer cloning and management solution) is a key component of the FOG Project to describe and deploy various versions of Windows (XP, Vista, 7, 8/8.1, 10), Linux and Mac OS X is a Linux-based, free server for FOG Server does not use any boot disks or CDs; everything is done via TFTP and PXE. Suppose you need to download office applications in any company or educational institution. Doing this one by one is quite a long process when there are a large number of computers. Therefore, you can use FOG Server and do it in less time.
What is a DHCP Server? What is it used for?
Again, it will take time for you to assign a separate static IP to each computer in an office or educational institution. You can install a DHCP Server to quickly assign an IP to each computer without wasting time. DHCP Server will distribute IP to each computer according to the scope you set.
