11:44 My HP desk top PC is over ten years old and does not meet the requirements, however I have run Windows 11 on it since it was released and have never had any issues, it allows me to update daily and everything runs great this is all thanks to Rufus and flyby11 and of course little knowhow thanks to YouTube !

Or just get a mini…….right now an N100 with 16GB of ram for $160 USD at Amazon ain't too painful, and WAY better than trying to ad a TPM-2.0 module to a potato.

I have a 3200G on a B450 Asrock motherboard. Custom built system no TPM. 5 year old PC, can't run Win 11.
Runs Linux Mint 22 no problem. So dual boot with Win 10… maybe run Win 11 vm in Linux.
my gigabyte pc board with i7 does and it was made for windows 8, See if it runs win 10 then upgrade from there then that will help the drivers
I think you must have to put in an SSD solid-state drive for sure if it's not set up for one then no that's just out of the gate. Going to have to have a good CPU or just forget it.
Running Windows 11 24h2 on 2012 Dell XPS 13 with no problem
People used to say Windows XP for life and Windows 7 to until the end. However, I wish Microsoft did not say Windows 10 wil be the last Windows release and no more others. In the end things had changed significantly with Windows 11 and the results may not be sweet for some including myself. On time, one time π’π’π’
Just put Linux Mint my old W7Pro laptop. Works very nicely. All my W10 machines that can't be updated to 11 will be converted to Linux when W10 loses support.

I bought a second-hand but nearly new HP laptop off eBay, and it came with Windows 10 installed, and obviously a load of HP crap. So I freshly installed Windows 11, however… I will be retaining Windows 10 on my computer, and I will pay for 1 year's worth of security updates. After that I will just use Windows 10 without the security updates.
How is the idea of using Windows 11 on unsupported hardware? Do someone tried it for daily driver?

I finally got the Windows 11 update to upgrade from 23h2 to 24h2. Is it safe to upgrade or should I stay on 23h2 for the time being?
Iwouldn't put windows 11 on anything. I will take my chances with windows 10, or use Linux mint.
My Dell laptop came with Win11 pro, 23H2. Replaced nvme, installed Linux, then virtual machine and there Win11. I'll use Windoze only when I absolutely must. Also having it installed on a usb if needed. The majority of average pc users don't really need Windows. If they were just brave enough to give Linux a chance and learn something new. Also saving power along as Linux is less hungry for resources, not wanting to cook your CPU.
A dude with belt-and-suspenders has a Linux installed on his old PC. Just in case my Windows PC goes amok…
