Can We Really Stop Microsoft Spying on Windows 11
Can We Really Stop Microsoft Spying on Windows 11
Loads of people love to debloat Windows to disable telemetry, data collection, disable copilot and remove recall from Windows 11.
I wanted to talk about Microsoft Windows 11 Recall and other data collecting telemetry that is on your Windows 11 PC, but is disabling privacy and security settings in Windows 10 or Windows 11 enough to protect your privacy?
So what is debloating Windows?
Remove unwanted Microsoft Apps
Remove additional pre installed bloatware apps
Disable Windows Telemetry

Change Privacy and Security Settings

short answer, yes, if you never connect to the internet.
i been dual booting linux and windows 10 since 2018,using linux mint as a daily driver and windows 10 as a computer technician i still need windows because almost 100% the client uses windows, almost my software i use for repair is for windows pcphone and emulating or finding alternitive is hard and such a hassle ,so i understand why people are stuck to windows.
Can we start a campaign where all creators make playlists of videos in how to transition to linux?
yes its called switch to linux
For privacy purposes, I use LMkde. I hope that it doesn't spy on me.
I have 17 firewall rules that stop this crap from Micro$haft.
Yes, by installing Linux
to me it says the service is not recognized ?!
is it something good or should i be worried ??
Finally, someone showed it right there in the EULA that you have no choice but to agree to in order to use Windows. Not saying it's right for Microsoft (or other companies) but that's the reality of a lot of these products and our privacy laws just don't protect end users. The EU and UK are more likely to force change for that region, but I don't see this happening in the US anytime soon.
If you haven't suspected Windows of being backdoored legally and programmatically for years, you're way behind in the game.
I've had macOS and Win10 Pro installed for a while however haven't logged into Win10 for a very long time. I think it's time to reclaim that partition!!
BTW, who here owns an iPhone?
Microsoft makes the operating system. So long as you use it, they have all of their own back doors into your computer unless you have it not only powered off, but also disconnected from electricity to absolutely disable the hardware until it's repowered. But then you can't use it at all without it doing it's worst to you all the while.
Or you can just format away every last byte of that malware and use something else.
MS is DEMONIC led by DEMONS…. GET RID OF IT!!!
Learn to ENLARGE your screen so people can actually SEE IT!!!!
Which section of their terms says install linux instead?
Seems like windows is waging war on privacy.
Oof, the thumbnail reminded me of WPD's bad interface.
"Disable telemetry" with a toggle set to OFF…so that means telemetry is on! Ugh.
I wish I could play modded Skyrim VR on Linux. Too much hassle though.
Block everything with Postmaster.
No, but someone can switch to Linux if it matters that much to them.
