  1. Seems great for photo/video editors that do not want M chip Pro Mac Mini for their creative work. The Intel Arc 8 core is good for 1080p video editing and solid for simple 4k video editing. The SD card reader is nice too. Also, the ability to game at 1080p on the side since Intel has updated most of their drivers for games.

Five Type A ports with 10 Gb/s ports is crazy! Past 3 I struggle to find the use. Wireless mouse/keyboard combo, cellphone charger, and the 3rd for a USB stick for loading files/photo/videos. Maybe a 4th for the web camera.

  2. This would be perfect (for me) if this mini-PC swopped the front USB-A ports (are there products shipping in the last few years that connect via USB-A?) with USB-C ports alongside having a rear mounted USB4 2.0 for up to 240w power delivery that can also do video out and data so i can power it via a connected monitor instead of some old fasion barrel jack. Hoping we'll see that with the Arrow Lake based mini-PCs.

  3. Im after a mini PC to use primary for graphic design, CAD, may Video and daily office-stuff.

Must said I´m totally out of todays market^^ Is Intel still a player these days, or better go with AMD?
How important would ya rate a docking-station for the possibility of an external-GraCa?

Ask because the GT1 looks good on first view, but because there is no option to upgrade main components later it must be some out da box thing, thanks in advance

  4. Seems like every new episode makes the gadget in previous episode old tech.

You should do a review of the minisforum BD790i SE with the Ryzen 9 7940HX with 32 threads for 329 usd
