An finally… Since you are not using this stuff in production, why not just use the free Windows Evaluation versions? I think you get 6 rearm with desktop over a year out of them. Server gets 6 rearm and this gives you around 3 years worth of time. I have not had any of these evals last more than about 18 months before I tear my lab down and start again in a slightly different way.
This would just save the license costs since this is a lab and not being used for production.
Will be interesting to compare this with LTSC when it drops in a month or two.
I need to do this on some single board systems that I have to get that little extra bit out of them.
