Darrius Mosley confessed to an August 18, 2018 attempted murder during an attempted robbery. Mosley, who lived in Lakeland, Florida, confessed that he traveled with his friend Nicholson to celebrate Mosley’s birthday in Tallahassee, Florida. Once in Tallahassee, Mosley, using the nickname D, purchased drugs from a house. Then, according to Mosley, he, Nicholson, and Hoskins returned to the Sandpiper Street Tallahassee home to rob the sellers. During the robbery, according to Mosley, his friend Nicholson shot and injured two people, including shooting one at close range. The three amigos were charged with various charges, including attempted murder. Mosley testified for the State. Georgia Cappleman was the prosecutor for the State. This is the trial, part 1, which includes opening statements and the first witnesses.
