I'm in Canada so a lot of these deals were different for me but the IronWolf drives were on sale here for the lowest price I've seen them ever so I stocked up through my account and friends/family accounts (due to purchasing limits) on the NAS drives I have in use in my Synology onsite and offsite NAS units. Although my NAS has been running for 8 years now and no drives have failed using these, I know that failure is coming soon just from the uptime on the drives and their use so I have all my replacements ready to swap in.
When you say Install any OS because of an HDMI port, do you actually mean USB port? Or is it because you need a display out to install a third party OS?
With all politeness to GMKtech and their products – there is no any trace of discounts here, not even 1 dollar… -30% are taken from nowhere. Normal price was 121$ as i remember throughout this year.
Would you suggest upgrading the memory on the GMKtec Mini PC N100 (thinking of your Proxmox cluster) ? Or maybe ordering it with the 16GB upgrade?
