This Episode:
We enable the Scale-Out File Server (SOFS) role on our cluster + check the required permissions on our AD organizational unit (OU). Create the SMB share and set an anti-affinity rule to make sure that the cluster hosts the S2D nodes apart – thus making sure that in case one host goes down SOFS is still working and the share is accessible. Finally we’ll do a quick test by simulating a host maintenance to proof this behaviour.
