Today we are going to install Alpine Linux on a regular x86_64 PC. We are going to cover the installation technique which is a little bit different than the Raspberry Pi, and then create a script to automatically upgrade the OS version using the integrated setup-bootable utility. It is a great way to get more life out of older PC hardware to keep it out of the landfill and save some money at the same time and may be a perfect fit for your next project!
