Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has revealed that Jabiluka will be added to Kakadu National Park after the Northern Territory government confirmed it would not renew the Jabiluka mineral lease on the advice of the federal government.
Fund manager Willy Packer a long-term supporter of the development of Jabiluka joined Sky News host Rita Panahi, James Morrow and Rowan Dean to discuss the fallout and what it means for jobs for Indigenous Australians and the uranium industry.
Jabiluka is arguably the world’s best uranium deposit with resources in the ground worth over $50 billion.
