I just love the first 2 Test Drive Unlimited games. Too bad the driving physics is just not satisfying. The force feedback and wheel support is very bad. I don't like Forza Horizon 5, but the driving physics is what keeping me.
If there is a Test Drive Unlimited 2 remaster or mod that has Forza Horizon physics, then it's gonna be my end game racing game.
If they just remade TDU they would actually release a good game

Traffic popping in and out,is caused by the game running at over 60fps,use afterburner to limit 60fps and it will not happen

I miss the satellite GPS in TDU and the 3 levels of zoom, where you could zoom out to see the entire island – great for navigation. Also the fact that you could add your own music playlist, even when online. I miss the change in sound ambience when you rolled down the windows in cockpit mode, you could hear the gush of wind come through, getting louder the faster you drive. It was not unusual to be cruising around the map with the max 8 players for hours at a time. We had all these features in TDU (2006) but after that games lost their soul.
Documentary! I will watch it in stages.
I ditched my TDU Platinum at the start of the month as it broke some stuff. So back to a vanilla save with the Megapack DLC included!
Still going strong with my TDU2 save.
