A Linux Story: Detect and remove the correct virtual disk (in this example, Debian on ESXi host)

#linux #debian #virtualdisk #esxi

Hello guys,
In this episode you will see how simple and easy is to remove a virtual disk from a linux VM hosted in an ESXi Host. I am mentioning Host because this is a standalone ESXi, not attached to any vSphere. Not important for this particular tutorial but needed to be mentioned.

In order to correctly show which disk must be removed, you need lsscsi command which can be easily installed, no matter the linux distro.

Questions? Do not hesitate to drop a comment.
Cheers!
