How to install Arch Linux – fast and easy 🐧 Make your computer run like new again! #archlinux #pc
This is a very simple way to install and setup Arch Linux OS.
1. Download iso from archlinux.org/download
2. Download Rufus.exe file from rufus.ie
3. Plug in your USB thumb drive (2gb or higher)
4. Launch Rufus and SELECT arch iso file. Then Press Start.
5. Klick OK or YES on all prompts
6. Check (or google) which button you need to press to get to Boot Menu and bios for your brand of computer.
7. Reboot computer when USB stick is READY.
8. Press and hold (or multiple pressing) of your Boot Menu button (F9 for my HP laptop).
9. Choose First option once you are presented with Arch installation menu.
10. Type iwctl (wifi only! If on lan jump to step 14)
11. Type station wlan0 connect “NAME OF YOUR WIFI” then press enter.
12. Type your password and press enter.
13. Type Quit and press enter.
14. Type archinstall and press enter.
15. Choose your options. (As shown in video)
16. Select Install from the bottom and press enter.
17. Grab a beverage of your choice. 🙂
