I found Polyphia from a Playing God reaction video a few weeks ago and I have not stopped listening to them. Literally the only thing in my ears. I also decided my next guitar will be the TOD10N
That 'board looks more like dark rosewood or another more open grained tropical hardwood alternative.
Either that or the factory left it as is after machining the radius.
Ebony should be tight grain and almost plastic smooth if sanded to a fine grit.
