Back in 2005, Nokia released a tablet. Well… it’s not really something you would describe as a tablet today. But it let you browse the web, check email, play media, and even install some third-party software. Also it ran Linux… so you know it must’ve been good.

You should try the Trimble Yuma scientific data computer
Maemo was so cool. It was a bit misguided I guess considering that Nokia bought QT.
How many "uh" per minute is the average on the videos here? 40? 50?
I bought one 8 years ago for $24. Came with the case and a stylus.
I have a 810 still in working conditions and it's still great😊
15:36 never expected to see that there tho. amazing taste
I has a 770 then, upgraded the system 2 generations up, but it was a lot of work hacking it to that stage.
Жаль девайсы подобные этому больше не делают
hey can you do a video on the onecore api project on github and try it on windows xp? it lets you run modern programs on xp
You made me buy one, look what you have done!
Got mine in a clearance sale back im 2008 and tinkered with it for a while. It was awesome for SCUMMVM. I also remember to have mangled some episodes of The Office into shape, so I could watch something close to a slide show on my daily commute until 2010. The life!
It still collects dust here somewhere. I never bother to turn it on anymore, as I remember it rebooting constantly due to RAM starvation.
I still have my Nokia 770 and it still boots up last time I checked a few months ago. I got mine on the early beta program in 2005 and used it for years from mobile sysadmin and even sat nav amongst other things. Absolutely loved it 🙂
This is peak era "Actually it's GNU/Linux".
For normal bt working, need flash maemo2007 ("n800 on n770"). I have it on my 770!
Devices like these were so cool back then. But I'd still prefer a Palm or Windows PDA. lol
This kind of lives on with SailfishOS, you should definitely check it out, it's an interesting thing
Nokia wasted their Maemo/Meego operating system, me and others still are all disappointed.
How can you not know how to play Mahjong?? Find and select two identical tiles, see what happens.
i was a proud owner of a nokia N810 and i LOVED that thing.
To this day, N900 is my favorite phone I have ever used. Shame that the product line was killed.
3:35 That piece of debris you brushed away… did the cursor jump out of the screen into real life somehow?
This looks pretty nice. I would not refuse to try it out
Could Nokia saver
Wow a SPARE stylus? Apple would lost their sheit if someone even suggested such a things as A tool/accessory
Would this not be classified as a PDA
Ah yes mobile internet device MID's I still have my n800
