I strongly disagree with the ruling in favour of illegal miners. Many are also in the country unlawfully, undermining our laws and security. This decision rewards criminal behavior instead of enforcing accountability.
Who's blocking access to the mine? Did the judge not see rescuers removing people from the shaft live on TV for the past two days or so? The person who came up with this court order must be high on nyaope.
The court's role is not to order police to leave criminals alone; rather, it is to take the illegal miners who were taken from the shaft and sentence them to lengthy jail terms for mining illegally and for terrorising mining communities. What kind of a useless government is this that fights against itself?
