Another great review Alex 👍🏼 you did a lot of legwork and I personally appreciate all the details that you put into this. I was curious if it could handle basic video editing. I'm currently using an M3 MacBook Air. Most of my projects are still just 1080. I still question if some of my projects require 4K, but to me, it's not worth the extra memory. It eats up and longer rendering. What do you think the memory sweet spot is currently I'm using 16 on my MacBook Air. Another awesome job buddy. Thank you.

M4 mac mini has a higher performance in blender , i wanna learn and do aniamtions and video production like imperial , using blender and after effects , is it enough for these two softwares ? Special for blender ?

45 mins to render 1 frame? Yikes. Optimal frame rendering is like under 2 mins but that depends on a lot of factors.

Has anybody tried this setup for LLM, (Which would do better in LLM processing, training, inference, RAG etc.)- would this run llama3.1 (70B)
2x m4 mini with 32gb ram each 256 ssd –Tbolt4 linked and load distributed, versus 1x m4pro with 64gb ram 512.
😃I'm not a big fan of Apple but the introduction of 2024 MacMini really caught my interest because of mostly the price/performance is surprising good and it's even cheaper to buy with student package from ~$596.68 to ~$496.76
🤔But there's something spinning in my mind here about the mouse, keyboard and USB dongle
because I don't wanna use Apple's ones so could you guys suggest me ones work fine with Apple machine?
My budget is ~$58/~€54 for each one.
And the USB dongle or hub I have UGREEN one in my mind but the latest model is only thunderbolt 3

Great video, still trying to decide between Mac Mini M4 base or Pro Base, doing a lot of graphics stuff, so maybe the Pro with 24GB ram is the way too go? Definitely NVMe 4TB SSD sounds like a good idea too

If you use parallels software, then is it necessary to get crossover app to play windows games? Wouldn't Parallels app provide the same functionality as crossover?
