I sold all of my 1660 ti and 1660 supers. I also sold my 3060s. I used the money to by some used 3060ti and 3070s. Consolidated down to 2 rigs. If mining comes back I'll run them, if it isn't profitable by April 2025, I'll start selling the remaining cards as well.

I have a ton of 2080 super blower gpus….. im guessing i need to start cleaning them and trying to sell for "pennies" ugh. Any suggestions?

It all comes down to how much you pay for power, and its a game most of us are losing. Even my "off peak" rates are getting too high. We all enjoy mining but at some point you have to take a critical look at the numbers and decide there are likely better places to deploy capital. GPU only mining is likely dead due to services like Vast and Clore where you can just rent unlimited GPU's and arbitrage anything that becomes profitable.

i'll take a free miner. im on staggered electrical prices daytime rated kind of expensive. nightime though cheap,cheap.

Also back to solar, put in the MAX amount of solar you can fit on and make sure you can get an inverter that can take a battery backup at a later date. You said you'll fit every bit of roof space for solar, do you have a figure on the size of the array, and the 'calculated' generation it'll do over an average year? Nov 11th this year I would have had my 8kw/10kwh battery solar system for 1yr. Have any questions ask away as I could of put 10kw in and wish I had lol. I can also add another 20kw of battery if I needed but doing alright at 72% energy independence over the whole year so far Use A/C heat pump and no gas heating or hot water, everything is electric also I've been running that RX580 x3* rig on RVN for last 6months included in that power usage. I used that rig to heat my office at the other end of the house over the winter period haha.

P.S on the video schedule and quality, don't stress to much and once you've done all your shifting into compute power, surly once you get more free time the video quality will spice up again. But again don't stress rather a quick 5min 'Hey here's my new solar setup getting installed today" vblog as you put it than nothing mate 🙂

bro the only pow coin that can survive is btc.
There is no reason for a coin to go pow because its a liability.
Just ask yourself if you'd buy the coin that you are mining if you couldn't mine them.
I bet there is no coin that you'd do that other than btc or eth when it was pow.

I'm downsizing too. I'm going to be selling everything except my AMD rig which is great for KawPow. I'll mine through the winter and sell everything in Spring. I'll use the proceeds to buy 4 to 5 5090s at retail when they drop and use those to spec mine the next bear market. To be honest, I've stacked all the coin I could this bear market and I'm ready.
