No one is moving to Linux. lol
i move to linux on my 2 year old laptop week ago
No problem – use Linux!
Been on Kubuntu for a few weeks. All the Steam games I've tried work fine. It's slightly more buggy and less stable than Windows, and requires plenty of tinkering, but it's worth it to get away from Microsoft. I only need Windows on very rare occasions now.
Considering I do both gaming and music production (using many Windows/Mac only plugins), I'm not going to be using Linux as my main OS anytime soon and duel booting doesn't make sense since I'd be using Windows most of the time anyways. I'd love there to be a time when I CAN use Linux as my main system though!
performance monitor report not generated windows 11 24h2 a other bug
Last windows I will ever use Windows 10! Microshit will not see me anymore!
So glad that an automatic Upgrade from 23H_ to 24H_ is not possible 😀
I fixed recall for them by completely disabling it in the DISM. I had to upgrade to 24h2 because some of my applications stopped working correctly. Particularly NVIDIA GeForce Experience. I was waiting for there to be good tutorials for how to disable recall before installing 24h2.
Did they fix the recall being mandatory issue and local logins for installs?
The overwhelming amount of computer uses wouldn't have a clue about how to install Linux. Heck, most of them can barely use a computer, let alone install an OS. That is why Linux is never going to be able to even come close to be able to replace Windows for the average person.
I'm on the boat to leave Winders behind, but I do still believe that even if all PC gamers left, we'd still be a drop in the bucket of Windows users. Hopefully though, it is a big hit to their platform.
I'm just curious when windows will ship with a removable motherboard tray
