Commands used:
Boot into FASTBOOT Mode:
For most Android devices, turn off the device and hold Power + Volume Down until the FASTBOOT mode appears or use this command ‘adb reboot bootloader’.
Erase User Data:
Type: fastboot erase userdata
Flash the Kali Linux Userdata File:
Type: fastboot flash userdata
(Then, drag and drop the userdata file into the terminal window)
Flash the Boot Image:
Type: fastboot flash boot
(Drag and drop the boot image file into the terminal)
Go back to Mobile View
sudo systemctl disable lightdm
sudo systemctl enable phosh
Reboot the Device:
Type: fastboot reboot
Update Kali Linux Repositories (once booted):
Type: sudo apt update
Install Desktop Environment (optional):
Type: sudo apt install kali-linux-nethunter
