  1. Maybe try around Jay Cooke State Park near Duluth. The Basalt bedrock there has veins of quarts with gold. Some years ago we brought back some sand southwest of the Pickled Crow gold mine. The shoreline glittered. We never hand anyone pan our samples.

  2. You need to get yourself some water shoes I use to be like you and one day while fishing a rock halfway ripped my big toenail off. If got badly infected and I had to rip it off all the way it was like 6 months or more for it to grow back. Was not a good time.

  3. Ok buddy… I like what your doing and encourage you to continue. Just subbed to ya as a long time fan of Dan Hurd, mbmmllc, Vogus Prospecting, and Pioneer Polley, I gotta say your on the right track. Hoping you can eventually get some collabs with these folks.

  4. I never found any gold panning, but funny story. I stopped to pee on a prairie road here in North Dakota. Well off the main road. As I was going I looked down at the rock I was wetting down. Granite with quartz seams in it. In the seams are gold flakes.
