Nice review. Would be practical if you travel a lot for work and have to do a lot on a laptop. I suggest using Windows Powertoys especially the Fancy Zones Tool in it for your automatic resizing when using both as one screen. Very handy. You can define Zones and just drop windows into them so that they automatically are resized to the corresponding zone.
Wait this is actually super cool and would fit my needs extremely well, and I don't even care about the portability lol. I have a second monitor that I like to use in portrait mode already but there's a lot of things I wish were different about it. The combination of the resolution and size of each screen would work so extremely well for this. Might have to look into this a little deeper 😀
