Is it prasanthrangan's hyprdot!?
What's all the hype about tiling managers nowadays, that's just not comfortable compared to standard desktop.
whoa. easy on the transparency settings
If you mouse wheel is misbehaving, blow into the wheel area. Sometimes dust and debris get caught up in it.
Better keep that dual boot because you will need some programs that are only in windows but still have mad fun with arch
Could you release your dot files (: Oh and im kinda new to hyprland. how do you make apps float like on 11:50
Also using Hyprland under Arch Linux on the same config you have (Hyde) on a Nvidia GPU RTX 3060, I switched 3 months ago from Windows 10 and ive have had some issue of discord flickering before, had to disable Hardware Acceleration to fix it in Vesktop settings, other than that no issue at all so idrk what people are talking about when it comes to issues with nvidia cards, overall been extremely happy with my Arch Linux setup even got my friend to switch from windows to arch and he's happy with it too, nice wallpaper btw
btrfs assistant does backups automatically before and after updates
bruh chill on the window transparency
Did you builds setup on top hyprdots
that wallpaper is soo nice !!
The only thing stopping me from migrating to arch linux or other distro is that i can't find a suitable replacement for autohotkey and i absolutely can't live without it. Microsoft is pissing me off so much… all the programs people recommend are just for automatic typing, not defining hotkeys or what in ahk they call "hotstrings" which is autocorrecting when you misspelled a word system-wide
Hyprland is really neat, highly customizable, and feels good in general. But for my specific use case(s) and setup, Tiling WMs doesn't really work that well so I stick to full blown DEs like KDE Plasma or Budgie.
Welcome to Arch BTW.
Next step is becoming an openBSD user π
sick looking setup, i did see that blurred image on the terminal though LMAO
persona music on the background goes hard
You need to make your wallpaper collection public icl!!
Switching to Linux has been great for me. I have to use Windows still for my Elgato card sadly.
my bro didnt even blur the hentai games LMAO
I like more Windows than Linux.
I've recently started experimenting with Linux as well. Got Linux Mint running on my old laptop. Thinking of dual booting on my main PC cause it just feels so snappy and as you said Windows is pissing me off with how little control we have over our own BOUGHT OS lol
aight bro i NEED that wallpaper please !
iβm looking to switch to arch linux, your whole desktop/setup looks clean as. iβd love to get something that is similar to it, could you make a video on how?
bro some of those games in your library are β¦ questionable lol 1:23
nice setup, i also use hyprland, more specificly hyprdots. I have a few issues, I dont get audio when using steam, unity crashes when i drag and drop and jellyfin has so much colorbanding I prefer sitting at the desk on my windows desktop rather than using arch laptop. Aside from that, it all works great.
I like your wallpaper a lot. I'm thinking to migrate to Arch Linux. My Win10 is getting slower on my potato laptop.
