Windows 11 24H2 Have GB of temporary files that you cannot delete it is not a bug

  1. Haven't used Windows since Win 7 went bye bye but can you just not boot into a live distro of Linux and delete the 'undeletable' from there. Unless that would make Win11 unbootable or broken,it might be a method.

  2. I would be looking for 3rd party software to remove that cr*p. What do you wanna bet theirs some sort of telemetry or hidden telemetry sending back at the very least a summary of the temp files. Tin foil hat but you never know, knowing micro harvest data soft.

  3. it doesn't add up
    my own PC has 8.63GB of "Windows Update Cleanup" that won't go away
    but at the same time, my work PC and one of my laptops that's on W11 does not have this issue
    W11 24H2 on all systems mentioned
